Newboro Manor
At Newboro Manor, the John Draffin Manor House (c. 1860), we will open our doors to the public for an exclusive glimpse inside this beautifully preserved heritage home. Lovingly restored in the early 2000s, the manor retains its original wood panelling, floors, windows, and sweeping staircase. Guests are welcome to explore both the first and second levels of the home, as well as the historic stone carriage house, home to Stone Manor Studios, a boutique arts and craft teaching space. Visitors are also invited to enjoy the peaceful Forest Acre Walk, a trail through the one-acre old-growth forest on the property, nestled in the heart of the charming village of Newboro.

The Walking High Tea Experience invites guests to enjoy a curated high tea box while exploring the manor and its grounds at their own pace. Blending the elegance of a traditional tea with the freedom of a self-guided tour, this experience offers a unique way to soak in the charm of Newboro Manor. Throughout the weekend, guests will be welcomed by the “Lady of the Manor,” dressed in period Victorian costume, adding a touch of historical flair to the day. Enjoy your tea in one of several scenic garden nooks as you wander through the manor’s interiors, curated displays, and gardens. For a refreshing treat, Old-Fashioned Blueberry Iced Tea—prepared by The Poplars Resort—will be available to purchase on-site throughout the day.
A heartfelt thank you to all who purchased our special edition Walking High Tea boxes. With only 100 available—50 each day—they sold out quickly, and we’re so grateful for your support in making this experience at Newboro Manor such a memorable one.
